How to Care for Your Natural Lip Balm

Our lip balm is made with simple, natural oils and butters, which makes it nourishing for your lips but sometimes it can behave a little differently than conventional balms.

Store it right:

Keep your balm in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or heat.

Why it may separate or turn grainy:

Natural oils and butters can separate over time or in warm conditions. This is completely normal and doesn’t affect the quality or effectiveness of your balm.

If the balm becomes grainy, it can also work as a gentle lip exfoliator, helping to remove dry, flaky skin.

How to restore smooth texture:

Gently warm the balm in sunlight or near a low heat source until softened the place it in the freezer for 15 minutes to solidify evenly and return to a creamy consistency.

How to recycle:

When your balm is finished, remove any remaining product and place the cardboard tube in your household recycling or home compost bin.

Our tubes are fully biodegradable and made from recyclable paper, so they return gently to the earth, just as they came.
